Brand Background

NTT DATA is a global technology consultancy with roots in Japan and operations spanning over 50 countries. Originally part of NTT (Nippon Telegraph & Telephone), the company grew into one of the largest IT service providers in the world — helping businesses modernise systems, improve user experiences and build trusted digital infrastructure.

As a brand, NTT DATA operates at scale. Its identity must communicate reliability, clarity and innovation across a wide range of sectors — from finance and healthcare to public services and transport. With thousands of professionals worldwide and a strong focus on R&D, the company positions itself as a long-term strategic partner in digital transformation.

Project Overview

This project focused on translating NTT DATA’s technical expertise into a clear visual language — one that feels professional, accessible and forward-thinking, while maintaining consistency across touchpoints and regions.

To support this, I collaborated with NTT DATA to strengthen visual cohesion across their global communications. I developed and implemented a unified brand system, directing the rollout of more than 300 branded documents used across multiple regions and business units.

The result was a scalable design framework that improved clarity, streamlined internal production, and ensured alignment with the global rebrand.

Challenges

With only one month to complete the rebrand, our three-person design team was tasked with updating over 300 branded documents some exceeding 100 pages. The challenge was to maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across every asset while meeting an extremely tight deadline and coordinating with multiple global stakeholders.

Ensuring every document followed the new brand system while remaining error-free proved especially challenging, as the team had to carefully QC each file under tight deadlines. Despite the pressure, we maintained consistency and delivered a polished, unified set of materials on time.
